Intermediate Phonics

The third level of our Phonics program, enabling students to build the foundation required to become fluent English readers and spellers.

Materials needed to teach Phonics include a teacher's copy of the workbook, the answer sheets found at the back of the workbook, the corresponding reading book, and additional materials (homework, additional spelling sheets, etc.).

Students are taught to memorize short vowel sounds, to blend four letter words, and read and spell these words quickly and accurately.
